Ronnie Lee Radford, age 71, formerly of Princeton, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026, in Leesburg, Florida.

Ronnie was the beloved son of Thomas William Radford and Sadie Marie Bibey. He was the last remaining son of five children, and his passing marks the end of a generation in his family.

Known for his personality and distinctive voice, Ronnie spent 14 years as the morning radio announcer, Buddy Andrews, for WAEY in Princeton before changing paths and becoming a top agent for TransAmerica Insurance Company.

Born and raised in West Virginia, where he spent most of his life, Ronnie found comfort in the sunshine and warmth of Florida after his retirement.

Ronnie leaves behind his five children, Marie Radford, Charles Ronnie Radford, Matthew Radford, Dustin Radford, and Amanda Collins, as well as six grandchildren. He is also survived by his partner, Sherry Wise.

To his children and grandchildren, Ronnie was a part of their lives in ways that cannot be measured simply in words. He leaves behind memories, stories, and moments that will be cherished for years to come. His family will continue to carry his memory forward, passing those stories and pieces of him down through the generations.

Ronnie will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His life was shared with many people who knew and loved him, and his memory will remain with those who had the privilege of knowing him.

No services or memorials for Ronnie are scheduled at this time. The family may choose to hold a celebration of life at a later date to honor and remember him.
