Ronnie McNeil Sr., 72, of Sanford passed away on Wednesday, June 14 ^th surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 22, 1944 in Stow, Ohio to Gene Hensel and Anna Frye. He served a career with the Sanford Fire Department for 25 years (1971-1996) earning the rank of Lieutenant. Ronnie helped many people with his air conditioning skills through the years. He was a talented, creative, and inspiring man in life. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved to be on the river fishing and had many pictures and stories to share of the fish he caught. He spent his final days with family and friends by his side returning the love he so freely gave to all who knew him. He will truly be missed. Ronnie is survived by his son Ronnie McNeil Jr, brother Mike McNeil, sisters Cathy Hensel, Peggy Meister, Bonnie Campbell, Sandy Thorne, Joni Gaylord, grandchildren Chayse McNeil, Brooklyn McNeil, girlfriend Tammi Haney.
