Obituary

Rosalee Eva-Maria Buck was born on July 25, 1962, in Trelawny Jamaica, to Prudence Mae Thorpe (Johnson) and Leopold McDonald Thorpe. She was raised in Jamaica, where she developed the strong faith, compassion, and loving spirit that would guide her throughout her life.

Rosalee was a woman of deep faith who loved the Lord and remained devoted to her church family throughout her life. In Jamaica, she worshipped at Mount Salem Open Bible Church in Montego Bay, where she established a strong spiritual foundation. After moving to the United States, she became a faithful member of Golden Gate All Nations Seventh-day Adventist Church, where she continued to grow in faith and fellowship.

She was the beloved wife of Everton Buck, with whom she shared a life filled with love, commitment, and family. She was a devoted mother to Sceon Robinson, Nicole Campbell, Micheal Morrison, Rohan Buck, Sarah Buck, Janetta Buck, and Channelle Buck. Her children were among her greatest blessings, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Rosalee was also a proud and loving grandmother to CJ Robinson, Trey Robinson, MJ Morrison, Maxwell Jean Charles, and Jayden Jean Charles. Her grandchildren brought immense joy to her life, and she treasured the special bond she shared with each of them.

Known for her kindness, generosity, and warm heart, Rosalee never hesitated to help others in times of need. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome, loved, and valued. Her sense of humor and joyful spirit brought laughter to those around her, and her presence could brighten any room. Family, friends, and even strangers were touched by her compassion, encouragement, and genuine care for others.

She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, church family, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

On June 1, 2026, Rosalee peacefully entered into eternal rest. While her passing leaves a profound void in the lives of those who loved her, her legacy of faith, love, kindness, and service to others will continue to inspire all who knew her.

“Well done, good and faithful servant; enter into the joy of your Lord.”
