Rowena B. Colgan, 92 went to be with her Lord on December 31, 2015. Rowena is survived by her son Michael Colgan, her daughters Patricia Blodgett (son-in-law Joseph Blodgett) and Pamela Bender (son-in-law Duane Bender), her grand-daughter Shannon Bender and several nieces and nephews. Rowena touched numerous lives with her unconditional love. Even through her days of illness, she reminded people to "Be Happy!"

A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, January 10,2016 at 2:00 PM at Edgewater Union Church (500 S Ridgewood Ave, Edgewater Fl) The family would like to express their gratitude for the angels on Team 217 of Vitas Hospice, the staff at Port Orange Nursing and Rehab, The Council of Aging, Her pastor and members of Edgewater Union Church, and her personal care assistant Cherrelle Johnson.
