Roy W McElmoyl Jr. died surrounded by his family on September 15, 2021. He was 66 years old.

Roy is survived by his children, Justin McElmoyl (Lauren) of Babylon, NY and Shannon Falotico (David) of Summerfield, FL; and his three grandchildren Hailey, Lindsay, and Santino. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Henrietta McElmoyl Sr. of Brentwood, NY.

Roy was born on May 16, 1955 in Brooklyn, NY to Roy and Henrietta  McElmoyl Sr. along with his sisters, Karen McElmoyl and Christine McElmoyl. Roy had a career with The Town of Islip. His children remember him as a loving father who was kind and helpful.

In addition to his career, Roy was a volunteer Firefighter with the Brookhaven Fire Department. Roy also enjoyed playing guitar and loved to fish in his spare time. He was a hard-working individual who loved music and was passionate about travel and photography.

Roy passed away peacefully in hospice care. He will be remembered as a loving father, caring son and dedicated friend.
