Ruby L. Kitchen, 77, of Fort Myers, passed away December 16, 2018 at Shell Point Hospice House. Born March 11, 1941, in Leavenworth, KS, she was the daughter of Robert L. Kitchen and Ruby Cox Kitchen. After earning her bachelors degree Ruby worked as a registered nurse until her retirement and lived in the Kansas City area until that time. She then moved to Fort Myers, Florida. Ruby was active in her retirement community, attended herb classes with friends, played cards daily, and loved to quilt and oil paint. Her paintings and quilts are enjoyed by many friends and family members. She is survived by one brother and his wife, Robert and Twyla Kitchen of Bonner Springs, KS., sister Donna Albright of Fort Myers, FL., and a sister and her husband, Darlene and Tom Macleod of Kansas City, KS., four nieces, four nephews, and nine great nieces and nephews.
