Russell (Russ) Edward Daniels Jr., age 74, passed away on February 19, 2020, with family by his side. Born December 26, 1945, in Denver, Colorado, he was the son of late Russell E. Daniels, Sr. and Majorie (Barsch) Bittle. He received a B.S. degree in business from the University of Kansas in 1971 and was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Russ began his career at The Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City, where he worked for a decade and first met his wife of 46 years, Marcy. In 1975 they relocated to Baltimore, Maryland where Russ served as the Executive Vice President of Administration & Risk at Dunbar Armored for 39 years. Russ most recently worked for Brink's Global for 18 months after the company acquired Dunbar Armored. Outside of work, Russ enjoyed playing golf, swimming, birdwatching, and cheering on his favorite sports teams, most notably the Kansas Jayhawks. Russ will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marcy, daughter Kimberly, daughter Shelley and her husband Ross. He will also be fondly remembered by his brother William and his wife Maureen and his brother Peter and his wife Sheila along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at The Villages' Riverbend Recreation Center, 1833 Corbin Trail, Sumterville, FL.
