IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Russell And
Jean Futch
June 12, 1927 – June 2, 2023
Russell Futch, 96, passed away peacefully at home on June 2, 2023. He is survived by his three daughters Dixie Donato, Burma King, and Lisa Stanton; his four grandchildren Savannah Stanton, Chandler Stanton, Samantha Steiner, and Brittany Normand; and Misti Blu, his Pomeranian and loyal companion.
Russell was born in Daytona Beach, Florida. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during WW II and the Korean War conflict. Upon retirement from civil service, he started his own successful clock and watch repair business which provided him a little extra time for a few naps and long walks.
He was full of wit and was a loving father who worked hard to provide well for his family.
Russell was preceded in death by his loving wife of 69 years, Jean Futch, a true believer in our Lord and Savior. They are together again and we are all blessed to have witnessed their long-term commitment to love and to each other.
A committal service is scheduled for Russell and Jean Futch on July 21, 2023, 9am at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, FL. Those wishing to bring flowers may do so; the cemetery does not allow glass vases or standing sprays; small flower bouquets are recommended.
