Ruta Jadvyga Siauciunas was born June 11, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois and passed away on January 24, 2022 in Ocala, Florida surrounded by her family.

She loved cooking, baking, donuts, her grandkids, her granddogs, The Beatles, crocheting, reading, being Lithuanian, and connecting every life scenario to a Seinfeld episode.

She is survived by her mother Jadvyga Schmicher of Ocala, Florida: her four children Brigitta (Matthew) Dougherty, Kirkland, Washington, Erika (Joshua) Rinehammer, Oakland, California, Krista (Jason) Vaughn, Portland, Oregon, Adam Siauciunas, Clearwater, Florida; and her grandchildren Violet Dougherty and Milo Dougherty, Kirkland, Washington.

She requested to be cremated and her ashes to be spread along the Florida shoreline. Any future memorial plans will be shared by the family.
