Winter Park – Ruth Alberta (Moore) Bowser, age 96 passed away on 10 September at Regents of Winter Park. She was born May 29, 1926 in Lincoln, RI to David and Lillian Moore. Ruth was a kind and loving mother who loved patriotic music, the ocean, traveling by train and reading books. She was very proud of her four boys and the career paths each had taken. She was preceded in death by her youngest son Douglas Bowser of Orlando. Ruth is survived by her three remaining children, David (Pattie) Bowser of Orange Park, Jeff (Ellen) Bowser of Gainesville, Ross (Debbra Bonvallet) Bowser of St. Augustine and three grandchildren Chelsea (Robert) Stanfield, Andrew and Kate Bowser and two great grandchildren Samuel and Theo Stanfield; one sister Barbara (Moore) Larkin of Wakefield, RI and several nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was a member of Gateway Church (formally Killarney Baptist). Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
