Ruth Joan
Everett
Jul 22, 1939 — Oct 31, 2026
We are saying goodbye to our mother today, a remarkable woman who embraced every day with zest and joy. She was 87 years young and leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories.
Growing up in Southington, Connecticut, she eventually found her paradise in The Villages, Florida. She was a woman who truly lived—whether she was traveling the world to see Africa, Asia and many other exotic locations, enjoying a relaxing cruise, or simply spending time with her close-knit circle of friends. If she wasn’t out exploring, you could find her on the golf course, playing cards, mahjong, or dominoes, or tending to the rose garden she loved so much. Her commitment to the hobby was unwavering, having been a member of The Villages Rose Club since it first began.
While we take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her husband, Jim Everett, and her son, Richard "Rick" Kingsley, she will be deeply missed by her daughters, Deborah Heffernan, Toni Ann Cannone, and Elizabeth Thompson. Her warmth and spirit will continue to live on through her seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. We are so grateful for the happy, full life she shared with all of us.
We will have a remembrance for Ruth on Saturday November 7th from 12-2 for her close friends at our home, please join us in celebrating the life our mother and remembering her for the vibrant woman she was. Arrangements entrusted with BALDWIN BROTHERS Funeral & Cremation Society-Spanish Springs, 352-430-1449. Sentiments are encouraged at www.baldwincremation.com.
