Ruth Madalyn Harris, 93, of New Smyrna Beach died Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the Southeast Volusia Hospice Care Center with her son by her side.  Ruth was born February 5, 1916 in Greenville, PA.  She was a teacher for many years in Pennsylvania before moving here to New Smyrna Beach in 1979.  Ruth is a member of the Coronado Community Methodist Church.  She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, David and Joyce of Harrisville, PA; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.   Pending day of service
