Ruth Eleanor Young Jones, 89, of Casselberry, FL died peacefully on July 5, 2011. Ruth was born April 18, 1922 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Emma and Jay Young. She came to Central Florida in 1976 from Philadelphia, PA. Ruth worked as a Switchboard Operator for the Telephone Company and Sears. She was a member of the American Legion Post 53 Women's Auxiliary and was of the Catholic faith. Ruth loved to play cards and Bingo, but her true devotion was to her family. She will be most remembered for the love of her family. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her loving children, Patrick Jones and his wife, Elizabeth and their sons Jay and Elliott Jones of Philadelphia, PA, Linda Wojtowicz and her husband, Paul and their sons, Stephen and Paul A Wojtowicz of Altamonte Springs, FL, James Jay Jones and his wife, Cindy and their children, Christopher and Amanda Jones of Titusville, FL, Janet Jones-Dukellis and her husband, John and their children Danielle, Taryn and Katie Dukellis of Colorado Springs, CO and William Jones of Casselberry, FL and one great grandchild, Chase Wojtowicz.

A gathering of Family and Friends will be held at the Community Center in Lake Katherine Estates, Casselberry from 6-8PM, Tuesday, August 9, 2011.
