Ruth Edna Lotz Wilson of Leesburg, Florida passed away on January 20, 2024 at Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares, Florida. Ruth was born November 6, 1930 in Freeport, New York. Ruth was the only daughter of Ruth Ann Haynes and Robert Lotz and survived her five brothers. She spent her childhood growing up in New York and attended the University of New York where she took nurses training. She moved to Florida in 1972 and lived in Lake County since that time.

Ruth is survived by her children, Ann Tallman-Stone, Robert Geissler, Elaine Morningstar, and Anton "Tony" Schepper all of Lake County.  She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one grandson.

Ruth was a member of the Leesburg Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.  A private memorial was held January 24 ^th .
