"What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly." - Richard Bach Ruth Ann Strausberg passed away peacefully early Sunday, November 16 at Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, FL. Ruth is survived by daughters Kristene (Jeff) Peterson, Laura (Shane) Verheyen, and Keri Nicarry; grandchildren Jack, Ryan, Avery, Jacob, and Sierra; brother Sidney (Marianne) Crouter, sister Betty (Rick) Santomauro. Family meant the world to Ruth. Her grandchildren lifted her heart and were the greatest joys of her life. Her nieces and nephews brought her much happiness. We will remember Ruth as she was in life: strong, courageous, loving, giving, caring, generous, funny, beautiful... A small, private ceremony will be held in honor of Ruth at All Faith's Cemetery in Casselberry, FL at 11:00 am on November 24. Donations to Hospice of the Comforter (www.hospiceofthecomforter.org) may be made in Ruth's memory in lieu of flowers. May we honor the teachings in all things and find peace along this journey.
