Ruth Eleanor Wetherington, 94 of New Smyrna Beach, FL passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022. She was born on October 15,1928 in Meadville, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chauncey and Neva Dodge Penfield, her husband of 46 years, Norvell "Noddy" Wetherington, her son, William Beck, her son in law , Hank Eddy,  four sisters, Josephine Repko, Leola Blood, Helen Phelps and Betty Gottwales and seven brothers, Jack, Allen, Earl, Harry, Clifford, Victor and Stuart Penfield.

She is survived by her five children, Sharon Vincent(Fred), Cindy Eddy, Chris Beck (Robin), Mike Beck, Cathy Wilson(Gene) all of New Smyrna Beach, FL and daughter in law Sue Beck of Andover Ohio;18 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Services at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, FL, have been scheduled for December 29, 2022 at 2 PM, services will also be held for Norvell Wetherington on this day. All are welcome to attend.
