Born in Peru, Indiana December 27, 1921.     God took her to heaven peacefully on September 8, 2017.   She is the daughter of Pliny and Nellie Hines.  Graduated from Peru High School in 1938.  Married Rollie (Curly) Lawrence  Zook on October 12, 1942 (he died January 1972).   They moved to Marion, Indiana and she lived there until she came to live with her daughter, Charlotte & son-in-law, Ron Small in Summerfield, Florida four years ago.

She had four children:  Larry Gene Zook (wife Shawncey), Charlotte Ann Small (husband Ron, David Dean Zook (wife Dee), & Joseph Karl Zook (wife Robin).  Ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She worked for four years at Owens Illinois Glass Co, Gas City, Indiana then retired from Indiana Gas Co.

Was member Sunnycrest Baptist Church, Marion, IN.

Sewed all of her life,  crochet, and a beautiful quilter.   Loved being with her family.

Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be at a later date and she will be buried at Grant Memorial in Marion, IN.
