Salvatore Cappello, 90, of Ormond Beach passed away January 26, 2020 at Advent Health Daytona Beach.  Born in Paterson, NJ he was the son of Connie and Angelo Cappello. Salvatore grew up in Paterson and in 1974 relocated to Southern Jersey where he resided with his wife Judith until 2005 when they relocated to Florida. A Korean War veteran, he honorably served in the U.S. Army. He worked for the Atlantic City electric company for over 20 years until his retirement in 1994.  His hobbies include bowling, hunting and visiting the slot machines in Atlantic City.  He spent many days enjoying Disney World and loved to watch the children marvel as they experienced the different attractions. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 52 years, Judith; brother George Cappello; sister Pat Marinaccio and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother John Cappello. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday February 5, 2020, 10:00 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church , Ormond Beach,FL. Burial with military honors will be held Wednesday 3:00 pm in Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims,FL
