Salvatore Falzone, 83, of Port Orange died peacefully on Thursday, June 30, 2011.   Sal was born October 6, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY.  He served his country with the United States Army and was honorable discharged in 1947.  He moved to this area in 1984.  Sal enjoyed taking walks on the beach and the soft sound of the breaking waves.  He was a true gentleman and a friend to many.  His kindness and loveable personality will never be forgotten.  Sal was preceded in death by his wife.  He is survived by his sister, Josephine Rizzo; niece, Joann Decrosiers and many close friends, Evangeline Mincer, Annette and Norman, Marie and Charlie O'Bourke, and Barbara and Mike Castellano.  A Life Celebration will be held 10:00Am, Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Emeritus Senior Living, 1675 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange.
