Salvatore Indorato passed away on April 16, 2026, at the age of 80 in Leesburg, Florida. He was born on May 7, 1945, and was raised in East Boston, Massachusetts. He later made his home in Lynn before relocating his family to Orlando, Florida in 1988, where he eventually retired from Walt Disney World.
Sal was a resident of Vista Lake Assisted Living, where he spent his later years surrounded by people and a community who cared for him deeply.
Sal lived a full and meaningful life, defined by his love for family and the simple joys that brought him happiness.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marilyn (Curtin) Indorato, who passed away in 2018. Marilyn was not only his wife but his best friend. They were inseparable and shared a love for traveling, visiting casinos, and creating memories that stayed with him throughout his life.
Sal had a passion for racing pigeons, something that brought him great joy and was a true part of who he was.
He is survived by his three children, Timothy, Tina, and Rob; his siblings, Anna, Joey, and Donna; his grandchildren, Ryan, Anthony, Joey, Dane, Jessee, Zachary, and Gavin; as well as great-grandchildren, extended family, in-laws, and many friends who will miss him deeply.
Sal will be remembered for his strength, strong will and the unique spirit he carried throughout his life. He leaves behind lasting memories in the hearts of all who knew him.
Dad, Papa, Salvy, Sal—you will be missed and always loved.
