Samantha Michelle Westerman, 37, of Estero, passed away at home on September 09, 2020, surrounded by her family. Born August 30, 1983 in Ridgewood, NJ., she was the daughter of Chris and Fran Westerman. Samantha had recently worked as both supervisor at Starbucks and server with Marriott Hotels; while pursuing a Masters degree at William Paterson University. Samantha had already acquired a Bachelors in Sociology. She always volunteered any spare time to helping others with organizations like Dumb Friends League, local animal shelters, Kumon Tutoring programs, Early Childhood Development, YMCA Rainbow programs, and support to grieving children of families experiencing loss. Samantha always gave more than anyone we know to help others and had such a kind and giving heart. This gave her purpose, and we know she would have continued that work as long as she could. Surviving are her parents Chris and Fran Westerman of Estero, FL., uncle and aunt Geoff and Sylvia Westerman of Wakefield, England, brother and sister Paul Westerman of Estero, FL., Stephanie Westerman of Nashville, TN., cousins Kim and Barry, second cousins Ryan, Lauren, Amelia, and Max; all of Wakefield, England, Terry and Brent of CO., Dean and Kathy Kurashita of California, and Jeff and Cinthia Kurashita of North Carolina. As well as, aunt Betty Kurashita of California. Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, Fort Myers, assisted with arrangements.
