IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sandra P.
Frechette
April 21, 1943 – January 1, 2026
Sandra P. Frechette was born on April 21, 1943, in Lowell, Massachusetts, and went to be with Jesus on January 1, 2026. Known to many as an angel on earth, there is no doubt she is now an angel in heaven, reunited in God's eternal peace. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, devotion, and unconditional love that will continue to guide her family and all who were blessed to know her.
Sandra was born to Leo and Jeannette Graham and was the second oldest of eight siblings. From an early age, she learned the values of responsibility, perseverance, and compassion. Those are the values that defined her throughout her life.
Sandra was baptized and raised in the Catholic faith, growing up attending St. Rita's Catholic Church in Lowell, Massachusetts. Her lifelong devotion to the Church remained a guiding light throughout her life. In 1996, she and her beloved husband, Roger, moved to west Florida, where she continued her ministry and deepened her faith within her parish community.
Her Catholic faith was the foundation of who she was. Every morning until her passing, Sandra began her day in prayer, faithfully lifting up her family members, friends, and those in need.
She held a lifelong love and special devotion to the Blessed Mother, Mary, finding comfort and strength through her prayers and quiet moments of reflection. Her prayers were an act of love and service, and she believed deeply in the power of faith to heal, comfort, and guide.
Since 2006, Sandra served as a Eucharistic Minister at San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port, Florida, a role she embraced with humility and reverence. She met daily with a small group in the chapel for morning Mass, where they prayed together for loved ones, the sick, and anyone facing hardship. This sacred routine was both her ministry and her source of strength.
Sandra was also a writer early in her life, expressing her thoughtful and observant nature through short stories and personal reflections. She had a quiet creativity and a gift for seeing meaning in everyday moments… something she carried into her faith, her family life, and her relationships.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Roger P. Frechette, Sr.; and her siblings, Barbara Visocchi, Robert (Bob) Graham, Deborah Geoffroy, Michael Graham, and Richard Graham.
Sandra was a proud and devoted mother to her four sons: Roger Frechette, Jr., Ronald (Ronnie) Frechette (married to Stephanie), the late Robert Frechette, and Randy (Frenchy) Frechette (married to Tina).
She leaves behind six grandchildren; Thomas, Kenneth, Hannah Nicole, Sean, Kendall, and Leo Frechette, and seven great-grandchildren; Ashlyn, Kody, Gage, Theodore (Theo), Samuel, MacKenzie, and Lincoln, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
She was preceded in death by her son Robert Frechette and her grandson Graham Frechette, whom she now holds close in heaven.
A Celebration of Life and Funeral Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at San Pedro Catholic Church, North Port, Florida, followed by a luncheon at the Venice Yacht Club.
Sandra's life was a testament to faith in action. She was known for her resilience, her willingness to sacrifice for others, and her steadfast belief in the power of prayer. Her home was a place of comfort, her presence a source of reassurance, and her example a lasting guide for generations to come.
She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of devotion, compassion, and love will live on through her family and in the countless prayers she offered for others.
