May 14, 1949 – November 30, 2020

Sandra Nancy Gates, 71, of Ocala, FL passed away November 30, 2020 in hospice at The Legacy House; born in Chicago, IL. She came to The Ocala Palms Community 5 years ago and enjoyed being an active member in the Pet Assistance Committee, playing Bunco with her friends, and playing on the bowling team with her husband and friends. She was an adored wife, mother, and nana by her family.

Survived by her husband, Gregory E. Gates, her two children, Renee Hargett (JJ Hargett), and Kenneth Gates (Cori Schliephake). Her five grandchildren, William Mitchell VI, Miranda Miller, Jocelyn Schliephake, Brooke Schliephake, and Alyssa Schliephake. And one great-grandchild, Wesley Mayberry Jr.
