Sandra was born in Tarentum, Pennsylvania. She was a songwriter and a singer who wrote hit songs for Crystal Gayle, Garth Brooks and Willie Nelson and many others. Most recently one of her songs was featured on a Johnny Cash album that was released this past fall. She had never married and had no children. She grew up in a small town in Western PA. She was quite a gifted artist and believer in all things good and wonderful. Sandra is survived by her cousins Barbara and Richard Shaw and nieces Michelle Cruz, Marlene Glein and Mary Glein.
