Stanton "Sandy" Sanborn, age 89, of Bushnell, Florida passed away peacefully on August 6 ^th , 2022. Sandy was born May 25th, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio to Clayton and Lucille Sanborn. He was an airplane mechanic and pilot in the Air Force, flying cargo planes of equipment and troops to and from the front lines of the Korean War.

Sandy had a passion and appreciation for old cars throughout his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brother, James Sanborn. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Marcia; his son, Mark (61) of California; daughter, Marissa (27) of Florida; and grandson, Ryan (36) of California.

The committal service is to be held at the Florida National Cemetery on Thursday August 18 ^th , at 10:30am.
