Sara Ann Cornell, 87, of Ormond Beach Florida, left us peacefully on May 25, 2025. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, "Gaga".

Born on June 13,1937, in Worthington MN, Sara grew up the only child of Rudolph and Marie Riley in Brewster MN. Sara loved to sing in her church choir but the thing she loved the most was spending time with her grandchildren.

On August 13,1960, Sara married the love of her life, Ken Cornell. The two met at North Dakota State University and shared a wonderful life that lasted almost 60 years together.

Sara is survived by her daughters, Judy Methner (Mark Methner), Katy Rachman (Nathan Rachman), Mary Cornell, and her Kiwi daughter Deidre Bailey (James Bailey). As well as her grandchildren Anna Rachman, Ben Rachman (Laura DelCastillo Rachman), Riley Methner, Rachel Methner and Harry Bailey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken.

A service to celebrate Sara and Ken's lives will be held on June 20th at 11:00am at Lighthouse Christ Presbyterian Church in Ormond Beach. The service will be live streamed for those who are unable to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lighthouse Christ Presbyterian Church, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, or Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
