Scott (Scotty) L. Whitley III, 46 years old, passed away tragically and unexpectedly on Friday November 25, 2022 in Ocala, FL.  Scotty was born on July 2, 1976, at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, CT.  He is the beloved son of Scott L. Whitley, Jr. and Margaret M. Whitley.  While growing up and living with his family in Stratford CT he attended Eli Whitney School and then Flood Middle School. He played soccer and baseball. When his family moved to Boalsburg, PA he attended State College High School and graduated in June 1994.  After graduating high school he attended Penn State, University Park Campus for two years.   He loved football, soccer, baseball and was a die-hard loyal football fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.  Scotty is survived by his parents, in Ocala, FL and sister Pamela C. Whitley in San Francisco Bay Area, CA.  His aunts, Kathie, Debbie, and Margie.  His uncles Richard, Frank, and Kenneth.  His cousins, Colleen Slusz and her husband Steven, Sean Owens, his wife Kristen and 2 children, Kenneth Owens, Patrick Owens, his wife Juanita and their two children Nora and Julian, and Will Beck his fiancé Delphine and two children Mia and Sabrina.  Lastly, Scotty survived by his 6-year-old shih-tzu dog, Danny Boy.  His family takes great solace that he is reunited with his maternal and fraternal grandparents, great Uncle Howard, great Uncle Charlie, Cousin Scott, including all relatives that have passed on previously before his death and family pets passed on, Gizmo, Elmo, and Murphy.
