It is with great sadness on this 7th day of June 2023, that we share the passing of Seymour Green, loving husband, father and grandfather. Sy, as he was known to friends, was born in Toronto, Canada on November 27, 1933 and led a truly extraordinary life that was lived on his own terms.

At a very young age, Sy established his own photography studio in Toronto and became a well-known and highly regarded professional photographer. Many of his groundbreaking photographs, from fashion design to commercial products, have been featured in all types of publications and advertising campaigns.

It was in Toronto that Sy met his lifelong companion and wife, Margo, eventually tying the knot in 1966. The couple brought into this world their son Cary and daughter Caryn, who, along with his devoted wife Margo and five beautiful grandchildren Piper, Taylor, Ella, Skyler and Logan, survive him today.

Sy was an entrepreneur at heart, and never backed down from challenges or new ideas. Soon after getting married, he and Margo moved to the Caribbean where he founded, owned and operated Seagreen Air Transport, a very successful inter-island airline that operated numerous aircraft based out of Antigua. To make a better life for himself and his young family, Sy sold the airline and relocated to Florida where he founded Avia Aero Services.

In addition to his family, Sy loved flying, photography and travel. He had the good fortune and acumen to combine these passions with his work, affording him and his family the opportunity to travel to countless destinations around the world. Sy was an adventurer who seemed happiest exploring the world around him, and inspiring his children to do the same.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made on Sy's behalf to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
