Robert Shane McChesnie of Port Orange, Florida passed away on November 18, 2023. He was 41. Shane was born on February 4, 1982 in Miami, Florida, to Diane Robin McChesnie and John William McChesnie. He graduated from Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange, Florida and attended Daytona State College. As a youth he was a lifeguard in Daytona Beach and later worked in the computer field and restaurant management in California and in Florida. Shane's interests included his lifelong love of nature and the ocean, swimming, surfing and fishing, playing guitar and tinkering with electronics. He was a "people person" who enjoyed a wide circle of friends. He is survived by his mother Diane McChesnie, daughters Mikayla Dawn McChesnie, Riley Blake McChesnie, and Reagan Emma McChesnie, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Baldwin Brothers of Port Orange are providing the arrangements which are private.
