Sherry was born in Jersey City, NJ to Charles Shaw Parker and Thelma Goulding Parker. She was graduated from Florida State University and worked as a public school psychologist. She married James H (Jimmy) Evans, Jr who preceded her in death in 2015.  Together Sherry and Jimmy enjoyed their pets, gardening, reading, kayaking, hiking, mission trips and homeless causes. They attended Edgewater Alliance Church. Graveside services wil be at Greenwood Cemetery Orlando Florida on June 11, 2016.
