Sharon Lee Surfus, 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 28, 2021 in Fort Myers Florida.

Sharon was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan on January 27, 1942 to the proud parents of Clarence and Helen (Schoen) Schutt (both deceased).

She was a graduate of Mt. Clemens High School in 1959 and, also a graduate of Eastern Michigan University – Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1999.

Sharon was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Ronald Surfus, whom she married in 1960.

She was a wonderful Mother to her three children: Paula Buchanan (Brian); Pamela Surfus; David Surfus (deceased).  And was Nana to her beloved grandchildren: Aerin Clement, Douglas Baker, Sydney Surfus, Ashlee Clement, James Landers Jr, Ashley McCoy (Jon) and Daniel Buchanan (Rachel).

Sharon was Sister to: Dr. Clarence Schutt (Barbara), David Schutt (Pamela), and James Schutt (deceased).

And she was blessed to have her 4 Nieces, 2 Nephews, 2 Great Nieces, 3 Great Nephews, and 2 Great Grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Thomas Edison Congregational Church (Fort Myers) on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 3:00 pm.
