Shaun Aaron Slinkard, 32, went to be with the Lord on October 8, 2021. He was born on September 6, 1989, in Noblesville, Indiana, to Steven D. Slinkard and Lori J. Clark McCarty.

Shaun worked as a deck hand in the Shrimp Boat industry. He was a Christian believer in God. He was smart, loving, and compassionate person. Shaun was a talented artist playing guitar and drums. He could do anything he set his mind to do, always making others smile and laugh. Shaun will be so very much missed by many friends and family. We love and miss you Shaun!

Shaun was preceded in death by his brother Luke; grandfather's, Kenneth Clark and Donnie Parham; great-grandparents, Frederick & Irene Stephenson, Roy & Freda Pershing and Billy Murphree.

Surviving are: a son, Eli Slinkard; his parents, Steven D. Slinkard and Lori J. McCarty, grandmother's, Thelma Clark and Carolyn Parham; brothers, Gregory Lockheart, Steven Groves, Steven L. Slinkard; sisters, Heather Zeller, Sabrina and Savannah Slinkard; niece, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of Shaun's life will take place at a later date.
