Sheila Dyer, affectionately known as “Buck Kim,” passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 87.

Sheila was born in England and was an English citizen prior to her marriage to Edgar “Buck” Dyer. Before her marriage, she worked in several countries and had the opportunity to travel and experience many parts of the world. Throughout her career, she also worked with different governments, building a life filled with unique experiences and lasting memories.

Sheila and Buck shared 57 years of marriage. She was a good and loyal wife and a loving mother and grandmother. To her family, she was the most lovable mom, grandma, and wife, and her kindness, warmth, and devotion to her family will always be remembered.

Sheila enjoyed English crossword puzzles and found great joy in helping foreign students. She was also a member of the Foreign Wives Club, where she enjoyed the friendships and connections she made with others.

Sheila is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Edgar Dyer; her daughter, Martha Paez; and her grandson, Max Centanni. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
