Sheila A. Parashis 86, January 30, 1940 - February 9, 2026

It is with great sadness our beloved mother, grandmother and aunt passed away surrounded by her family on February 9, 2026.

Sheila was born in Montreal, Canada to Alexander and Jeanette Marshall. Sheila was an avid reader and loved history and horticulture, but her favorite pastime was her family, especially her granddaughter Ariana.

Sheila worked in Montreal for the United States Consulate General Montreal prior to moving to Daytona Beach. She was instrumental in assisting several Greek families from this community move to Florida from Canada.

In Florida Sheila operated various restaurants with her husband Timothy prior to retiring.

Sheila is preceded in death by her beloved husband Timothy, her parents and her siblings Richard, Audrey, Micheline and Jimmy, as well as one nephew Billy.

Sheila is survived by her children Alexia Falkner (Bobby), John Parashis (Sonya), granddaughter Ariana (Cris), nieces and nephews Joanne Daoussis (Tony), Cathy Macrae (Graeme), Kim Stacey (Mike), Sheila Rennie (Lorne), Janet Kendrick (Barry), Joanne Wilson (Bob), Allison Brayton and James Brayton, Tommy Kensley and countless friends.

Sheila will be remembered for her fiery spirit and the love of her family. May her memory live eternally within us.

Services Tuesday, February 24, 2026: St Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 129 N Halifax Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32118: Visitation 9:30 am, Funeral 10:00 am, Graveside 11:00 am.
