Sherri Wackman Obituary

Sherri L. Wackman, born on October 11, 1967 in Sarasota, FL, passed away on November 25th, 2023, at the age of 56 in Englewood, FL. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and the youngest of nine siblings. Sherri will be remembered for her friendly nature and her heart of gold, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She had a special talent for making strangers feel like lifelong friends in no time.

Sherri is survived by her children, "Jay" Mischa, Eric, Ben, Jimmy and Italia, as well as her grandchildren, Gabby, John John, Julie, and Diego. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Jane.

Sherri attended McMinn Central High School and later pursued higher education at Charlotte Tech. She also had a military association with the Air Force, where she served with honor and dedication.

In her free time, Sherri enjoyed reading, being involved with LBHS Boosters, indulging in deep-sea fishing adventures, and most importantly, spending quality time with her family.

Sherri will be remembered and honored with a memorial plaque at Sarasota National Cemetery. The date for visiting the memorial plaque will be announced soon.

Sherri's life will be celebrated and cherished by all who knew her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones and the lives she touched.
