Shirley, age 87, of Port Orange, FL passed away on March 12, 2018 after a long illness.  Shirley was a retired telephone operator back when party lines were the norm.  She also was an avid animal love of all kinds and types.  Shirley is preceded in death by her husbands, George and Jack; and long- time companion, Art Peters.  She is survived by her brother, James (Patricia) Paytas; and her sister, Jean (Francis) Huntley.  No services are planned and friends and family can make a donation to Volusia County Humane Society on her behalf.
