Shirley Irene Brookman, age 85, passed away peacefully at her home on June 19, 2020. Shirley was born on June 13, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Irene Gondor. She was married to the late Robert Charles Brookman. Shirley is survived by her four children, Donna Bailey, Sharon Ruperto, Robert Brookman and Steven Brookman. Shirley is also survived by her four sisters, Priscilla Jones, Yvonne Atwood, Suzanne Jandron, Christine Hassall, and her brother Louis Gondor. She was a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She touched many lives with her kindness and loving heart for her family. Graveside service location will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in loving memory of Shirley.
