Shirley was born in Postdam, NY. She was a retired administrator for the school system  in Watervillle, NY.  She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star in Waterville, Waterville Women's Club and Oneida Lake Sailing Club. She was also an elder and member of First Presbyterian Church New Smyrna Beach FL. Survivors include sons Steven and Sheen of Deleon Springs, FL, sister Yvonne Norris of Asheville NC and granddaughter Vanessa Haggerty.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 6 from 6 to 8 PM and Baldwin Brothers New Smyrna Beach.
