Shirley P. Timins completed her earthly journey on August 12, 2026 in Oxford, FL at the age of 95.

Shirley was born in Norristown, PA on April 3, 1931 to Walter and Violet Hittle. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1949. She was employed as an executive secretary for many years at American Olean Tile Company in Lansdale, PA.

Shirley began playing golf later in life and for decades, she was an active member of the Indian Valley Country Club in Telford, PA where she enjoyed a strong community of friends. She was proud to have been celebrated as a Super Senior Champion in 1998.

Shirley was a gifted and creative craftsperson. She excelled at calligraphy and she also designed, hand-crafted and sold dozens of whimsical miniature birdhouses to the delight of many. She was an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed watching every game she could, cheering her favorite team through countless innings over many years.

Shirley is survived by her beloved husband of 75 years, Robert N. Timins, sister Carol Douglass of Doylestown, PA; son Robin Timins of Coopersburg, PA and his wife Marie; daughter Doreen Myers and her husband David of The Villages, FL; granddaughters Christine Myers of Scottsdale, AZ, Allison Vitt and husband Kris of Fort Collins, CO, and her great-grandson Oliver Vitt.

A private funeral service will be held in celebration of her life and legacy.
