Shirley Gene Hood White, born August 17, 1948 passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on April 29, 2023, and was welcomed into heaven by her daughter Annette. Shirley was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. She was survived by daughter Angela (Tony) Oddo of New Smyrna, son Dale (Phyllis) White of Port Orange, grandchildren Nyshia (Blair) Bizik, Tonya (Richard) Spitler, Krista (Cory) Lowe, Joseph Parrott, Sean Lawrence, Steven Darcy, and Kenny Darcy. Great Grandmother of Juniper (14), Leo (13), Lily (11), Lukas (5), Logan (5), Brody (4), and Piper (5 months). Shirley was always one to step in and help those in need. Her big heart, and firm style, made her a favorite boss to those who worked with her. She was a family first woman, and she will be deeply missed. Shirley will be honored at a later date. In leu of flowers or donations, the family asks that you spend a few extra minutes with your loved ones.
