Shorty Abbenante, 80, of Dunnellon, FL passed away November 15, 2018.  Born in Providence, RI, he came to this area in 2010 from South Carolina.  He was a retired truck driver and Protestant by faith.  Shorty enjoyed dogs, horses and rodeos and used to bull ride many years ago.  He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie; daughters, Sandy Lee Abbenante of Homestead, FL and Shirey Sickle of Marathon, FL; sister, Helen Pongetti of New Haven, CT; brother, Raymond Abbenante of Belvediere, IL and a grandson Eddie May of Inverness, FL.  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations 11250 SW 93rd Ct.
