Spiros Christos Andraktos, 90, formally of Lowell, MA, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 30, 2018.

Born in Lowell, he was the son of the late Christos and Kyriaki (Petropoulakis) Andraktos.

He was a veteran of both the US Army and the US Navy during WW11.

After serving in the military, he later followed his brothers to St. Petersburg, Florida, where he worked and retired with the US postal service. He was known for his operatic like singing while delivering mail. He later moved to New Smyrna Beach to be close to family.

Spiros is survived by his niece, Meg (Andrews) Rouse, her daughters Elyssa and Lexi Rouse, his sweet little dog Daisy, and many other extended family members.

Four brothers pre deceased him: James Andrews, William Andraktos, Peter Andreatas, and Manuel Andraktos.

In accordance with the family's wishes, a private ceremony will be held in his memory.
