Stanford J. "Stan" Patterson, 88, of Port Orange, FL, passed away at his home surrounded by his family. The celebration on life will be held February 24, 2024 at 2:00PM at All Saints Lutheran Church in Port Orange.

He was born in St. Joseph, MO on July 28, 1935 where he grew up. He graduated from Christian Brothers High School.  Following High School Stan served in the Army for two years.  When he returned home he earned a Bachelors Degree from University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS. He went on to get his Masters Degree at Indiana University, and back to Lawrence, KS to attend the School of Law. He practiced Law for 30 years in Waterloo, IA. He retired to Florida at 62.

He is survived by his wife Lois, a daughter Kathy Wunnenberg of O'Fallon, MO, Stepchildren; Thad Reisner (Joselyn), Trevor Reisner, Tonia Ryan (Paul) and Tiffany Ray (Matt). Grandchildren; David, Emily, Paul, Megan, Zachary, Paige, Melanie, Brianna, Landon, Gage, Alanna, Kloee, Jordon and one great­-grandson Gustav.  He is also survived by his cousin Patricia Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents Guy and Johanna Patterson and his brother John Patterson.
