Stephen "Steve" John Grau Sr. (55) of New Smyrna Beach, FL passed away unexpectedly in his home on July 27, 2020. Steve was born December 4, 1964 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to William and Therese Grau. After graduating Seabreeze high school, Steve served in the US Navy before moving back to Ormond Beach, FL and beginning his career as a telecommunications technician for AT&T.

A thrill-seeker, Steve enjoyed surfing, scuba diving, and travelling. His children will remember him as a fun-loving individual that prioritized creating memories with them, whether it was vacationing or going to a theme park.

He is predeceased by his father, Bill Grau, and his niece, Krista Roderus.

He is survived by his son and daughter, Stephen Jr. and Lacie Grau, his mother, Therese Grau, his grandchildren, Stephen III and Camiyah, his siblings, Bill Jr., Paul, and Julie, and several nieces and nephews.
