On Tuesday, June 9, 2020, Stephen A. McArdle III, of Chelsea, Alabama, passed away after a long fight with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was 66 years old. Among many other things, Stephen loved to barbecue, go fishing, Alabama football, and most of all, loved his grandchildren. He was the life of the party, had the best stories and could make anyone laugh. He touched every single person he had ever met.

Stephen is preceded in death by his father, Stephen A. McArdle Jr. and grandchild, James Hayes Doss.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda McArdle, two sons, Stephen A. McArdle IV (wife Amy) and Shawn M. McArdle (wife Valerie), daughter, Megan Doss (husband Eric), his mother, Jo Randall McArdle, two brothers, Randy McArdle (wife Diane) and Patrick McArdle (wife Tammy), sister, Margaret "Peggy" McArdle, five grandchildren, Riley, Truman, Nola, Avett and Lyla, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Stephen will be dearly missed by all.
