Stephen Smith, 73, of Ocala, Florida passed peacefully on June 24, 2024.

He was born in Canton, MA on June 17, 1951, to Vinson and Barbara Smith. He graduated from Canton High School. He married Susan Smith in 2003.

Steve was employed by Claim Solutions of Kansas City. He had been a town officer and volunteer firefighter in Connecticut.

Steve was a past governor of Moose Lodge 1199. He was active in the Ocala Shrine Club, and also belonged to the Morning Star Masonic Club. He also belonged to the Amvets in Candler, Florida. He was the treasurer of the Ocala Parrothead Club.

Steve is survived by his wife, Sue, sisters, Sue Rounds and Meg Smith, son, Scott Smith (Ashley), daughter Kerry Smith, stepdaughters, Beth Lewald and Katie Lewald. Steve has 10 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Vinson Smith, mother, Barbara Smith, brother, Mark Smith, stepdaughter, Amie Benya and stepson, Jacob Lewald.

Steve has requested no services to be held.
