Stephen Yedynak, 80, of Edgewater FL passed away peacefully on February 2, 2018.  He was born in Yonkers, NY on September 28, 1937.  Steve graduated from Saunders Trade and Technical School in Yonkers and served in the United States Marine Corps. He married Barbara Boytos on April 29, 1961.   He retired after working for many years as a millwright for New York City District Council of Carpenters Millwright Local 740.  He was active in the Somers Lions Club and is a past president of that organization.  Steve enjoyed his retirement years in Florida and participated in many activities in his community, Edgewater Landing.  He loved spending time with family and friends and was a passionate traveler who, with his wife, made many cross country road trips over the years.

Steve is survived by his wife, Barbara, daughter Michelle Pak, grandchildren Oscar and Phoebe and brother, Paul and many loved family members.  He was preceded in death by his sister Nadine and brother, Alexander.
