Steven Douglas Howell, 67, of Homosassa, passed away on January 29, 2026, in the company of his loving family.

Steve was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and helping hands. He loved camping, cars, and spending time with his family and friends. He leaves behind a family who will forever hold him in their hearts and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lori, his children, Vickie (James) Wallace and Richie Howell, stepchildren, Jason (Chasity) Gostkowski and Daniel Gostkowski, and several grandchildren.

A Celebration honoring his life will take place from 11am-2pm on Saturday, February 14 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 5340 W Grover Cleveland Blvd, Homosassa, FL 34446
