Steven Jacob Mackey, 25, of Sarasota, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 29, 2024. Steven was born on January 24, 1999 in Sarasota, Florida to Kyle Mackey and Selena Marie Criley Charlton.

Steven is preceded in death by his grandfather, William Criley II, and his uncle, Jason Criley.

In addition to his parents, Steven is survived by his stepfather, Adam Charlton; brother Harrison Charlton; sisters Lycia Charlton, Mia Mackey, & Isabel Mackey; grandmothers Sharon Matson Criley Moore & Patricia (Mackey) Willis; uncles Jeremey (Julie) Criley, William (April Hileman) Criley III, & Shawn Criley; aunt Donna (Mackey) Ferri; cousins Molly, Sid, Becky, Abby, Ben, Rylan, MaKenna, & Draven; and many other family members and friends.

Steven was a loving son, brother, cousin, grandson, and friend. He was artistic and creative and composed electronic music under the names "Wavefire" and "DubSteve9". He will be dearly missed. Precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
