Su Yong Yi, a resilient soul whose green thumb and warm heart left an indelible mark on all who knew her, passed away on June 26, 2024, in Palm Coast, Florida, at the age of 86. Born in Seoul, South Korea, on April 21, 1938, Su's life journey was defined by her deep-rooted passion for farming and nurturing those around her.

Su was more than a farmer; she was a master cultivator who could coax life from any soil. Her agricultural prowess was matched only by her boundless love for her family and friends. She was a pillar of strength and wisdom, offering guidance and support to all who sought her counsel.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication. Su is survived by her six children, Lisa, Hwa, Kun, Sunshine, Tony, and Oakie, who were her pride and joy. Her memory will also be cherished by her 11 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were blessed to have her as a beacon of love and encouragement.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Good News Jacksonville Church, located at 3850 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207. This gathering will be a testament to Su's vibrant spirit and the impact she made on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
